It's seven days later... and you've taken time, and you've got older. It's been a long time, you've already realised you can't do it on your own. yep, that's how it feels.

another devastating song from Matty Ellis. this one is much more poetic, allegorical. as dark as ever, it might take you back to croatia, or poland. "if we don't mention this, you know noone ever needs to know"

Bloke Folk at it's very best. This is true Australiana, in the best way. Fantastic arrangement, great lyrics!

"She swears if they just water this, the f#@%n thing will grow. So they walk back down and they pretend that this house is a home" Brilliant.

Poignant, compelling story-telling with an upbeat pace that makes you want to dance and spin around the room. Love it!

Compelling emotive song from a band with a classic Australian sound. Leaves you excited for what else the new album will bring.

This song is wonderful. The driving rhythm, arrangement, balance of instruments/vocals, the TALENT of all the Collective members is superb. The words are evocative and intriguing, and of course Matty Ellis's voice carries passion to the audience in spades. More tracks please!

Man folk doesn't get any better than this. Except live, you just have to see the Ellis Collective live to fully appreciate Matty Ellis and his collective geniuses.

A little bit of banjo and a touch of sadness. How can you go wrong.
