That chorus took a little darker turn than I was expecting. Refreshing! You've got a few tricks up your sleeve!

I've listened to this track a few times now, but it always manages to make me feel like i've known it my whole life. I love when music can make you feel like that and The Paddy Cakes have always been so good at capturing it. Plenty of solid moments in this, the ramp ups, the guitars (especially at 2 mins 20 in) and that chorus. All so damn good!

hitting those catfish and san cisco sounds on the head and doing it really well, i love it best when it's full and big.

In the spirit of great indie rock like Catfish & The Bottlemen, this is another winner.

Very very very good song from The Paddy Cakes. Could be the best thing to emerge from Gippsland since...the last best thing from Gippsland. I'm no expert on this stuff so just give it a play, yeah?

This would sit v comfortably on the soundtrack for coming-of-age UK classic 'Angus, Thongs & Perfect Snogging' - a high praise, trust me.

Unerringly influenced by Brit-pop sounds. In particular there's a whole lot of the Kooks to this song but don't let the referencing distract you, this track stands up on its own two feet.

you guys never stagnate - every release i hear is better than the last. this sounds like it could easily be a staple in the repertoire of a band that's been on the scene for ages. also you have cool hat merch.

Definitely hearing Catfish in the vocals, The Kooks in the song structure and then The Wombats in the guitars, tempo and feel. All coming together to do your own thing. Real easy listening.

Another great song the paddy cakes have brought to the table. The way theses boys keep going I’m pretty sure you’ll be seeing them go places.
