This track is so beautiful and completely blew my expectations out of the water. I love the sonic textures sprinkled throughout including the smooth vocals, but its the vulnerable and fierce story behind it that makes it something special. Can't wait to hear where Jamilla goes from here!

One of my favourite songs of the year. The simplicity, the delivery, and the raw vocal talent are a powerful combination - but it's your lyricism that blows my mind. Anecdotes and adjectives and a colourful vocabulary, with tricky little mid-sentence rhymes, plus the way you tell the story with eloquence and conviction.. it's just incredible. And thanks for throwing in that brass line...
