This is one silky earworm. Ro unpacks herself more and more on this track and we're all the better for it.

There's something very liberating in the sounds, attitude and honesty that Ro has brought here.

Four song's in now and Ro's showing us that she's here for good. Diary and F**cked Up Over You showed were the jump off point before Tea Stains showed us another side and this new one gives us yet another facet to her artmaking. She's the real deal.

This is a really strong song for Ro to finish (a great) 2019 on! You can hear that classic songwriter streak running through this and the sharpest, smartest lines sound all the more clear cos of the nimble and detailed production.

The new single from just came through triple j and instantly grabbed me. I love when a song can pull your attention when you're busy doing something else...always a big sign of a good song. Ro is an excellent songwriter and I loveeeee this new one! Those lyrics ring true and that chorus just pops!

Such a different song to Diary but every bit as strong. The way it builds after about 2:00 is just sublime.

Backing it up with another beauty here. Excellent build, exceptional production and vocal delivery and it really takes hold when the moment is right.

The breakdown at 2:39 feels so cathartic, both instrumentally and lyrically. For a post-break up track it's both a breath of fresh air and a big sigh of relief.

Clever from Ro. She's in no hurry on this song and that works, allowing this lyrical assassin to work her target over with poetic precision until they're unwound and cracked open.

It’s a very big two from two here Ro. Not surprised to be remarking on your clever lyrics again (its kind of just what you do isn’t it?) but there plenty else to hold to. Gorgeous vocal, subtle strings and a gentle climax are all there and adding power

Ro's voice made my eyes water the second it dropped into the song - WOW - it's pretty perfect.
Beyond that, this song is pretty heavy and captures that morose feeling of having post break up anguish really well.
When you listen to this your should either crank up loud on your walk home or when you're in your bedroom jumping on your bed and silently screaming to yourse...

"No more burning-out for fun // I wanna be the person that I needed when I was young" all but cements you as one of my favourite new Australian lyric writers. It's a gorgeous pop song.

Massive new single coming from Ro. Beautiful poetry & songwriting. There's so much style, realisation and empowerment listening to this. You're so charming. Big up to Dec's for premiering this one. This kicks ass.
