At first I thought there was a lot of Clare Bowditch in what Brown is doing. But she's got more of the jazz folk style going on. She doesn't try and oversing which many do in this genre. I like this track the best of the bunch. Not perfect, but an interesting arrangement.

A more folky version of Fiona Apple? In any case, great voice. The way that the tension builds throughout this song is nice, and the instrumentation is interesting and off-kilter. I also like the deep back up vocals towards the end of the song.

I think Hazel is very amazing. She somehow manages to capture the groove and heartfelt honesty of 'soul' without the bombastic wide screen sound that usually goes with it. It's like nouveaux soul with this really beautiful childlike sensibility. Also, she writes great lyrics. Awesome.

Gorgeous vocals/harmonies. Love the (deceiving) simplicity of this track.

Didn't love this song to start with but could appreciate the fantastic voice, and the harmonies. Somewhere around the 2 and a half minute mark I realised I was starting to love what I was hearing... worth sticking with it till the end!

Somewhere between Joss Stone's soul and Missy Higgins lyrics, a little bit funky and gorgeous. The way those words fall and flow is smooth

good stuff- reminds of colbie callait just way better. best listened to on the beach with the sun lightly warming your skin : ) beautiful tune and the lyrics are surprisingly easy listening- unlike some fast paced songs.

Soulful rythum and lyrics chill out beat with a touch of sultriness without trying too hard. Hazel Brown's voice and lyrics are clear a little different provoking thought which encourages complete easy listening. Would like to buy her CD when she releases it!

While listening to this track it seems to go from feeling like folk one moment, to soul the next, but it seems to have an overriding sense of sultry jazz/funk about it. This genre-blending is a good thing as it allows the listener to draw their own conclusions.

A voice of light honey and a balanced and perfected mixture of all the right elements. The album is really amazing Hazel.

This song is delicious from beginning to end. Hazel's silky voice and smooth tunes slink on into your head and, what's more, stay there with a warm cuppa joe. She's welcome anytime.

Gentle and sweeping. A beautiful sound that doesn't exactly stay the same while not drifting between styles.

Beautifully sung with a great sound. A great lounge style mixed in with a Bowditch style. A sound you can listen to for hours on end, a beautiful wallpaper for your world.
