Shades of Slowly Slowly disrupting the continuum and jamming with a heyday Kisschasy. Oh and look they mention both those bands on their profile! Too good.

All I can think of is Teenage Dirtbag, and that song did alright for itself. Need the baggy jeans, zip-up hoody, massive earphones and torn up skateboard, rolling in for the first day of college.

This really didn't do anything for me. A lot of it has to do with the vocals - the slick overproduction, the forced American accent and the breathy boyishness to it makes it sound like it should be for a Busted or early Jonas Brothers song. That's fine if that's what you're going for, but the instrumentation suggests mid-period Jimmy Eat World - which leads me to guess there...

That's fine if that's what you're going for, but the instrumentation suggests mid-period Jimmy Eat World - which leads me to guess there's been some sort of miscommunication between the band itself. Left doesn't know what the right's doing, and it makes for a really disappointing effort that wastes its potential. Obviously this band is young, and they have plenty of time to get their shit together. They just haven't been able to do so here.

Mental Health is a serious issue and so is this song. Bloody brilliant Kisschasy vibes. I'd like to hear more from Waxflower.

You can definitely hear the Slowly Slowly influence in this! The almost pop punk-esque vocals slot in with that classic 2000s Aussie rock guitar melody really nicely, and the drums accentuate the song in all the right places. The experience these musicians have really shows. A nice debut - excited to see where this builds to.

I've been told you guys have Kisschasy similarities and I can hear that but I reckon you guys take it one step further! The lyrics are completely dour but the music behind it is so uplifting. Call me officially uplifted!

This is so creamy that I think you'll be getting a letter from Ben and Jerrys soon.
A fresh take on modern pop punk we desperately needed.

This sounds like Kisschasy's sleek younger brother and I am all about it. This is a great debut - excited to see what's next!
