the "cos this world's not made for us" line stands out in such a beautiful but heartbreaking way and the whole song has that double sided quality that really captures the listener. gorgeous stuff alter boy!

This track is nothing short of brilliant, it's got a quiet thumping exciting energy that sustains the whole 4 minutes. There's a sombre but also hopeful quality to this that makes your heart swell in the best way.

Alter Boy sound like art. This one's got this rich balance between mystery, darkness and sweetness. It's intriguing and the atmosphere this song creates lures you in close. Very excited for you all to be next week's feature artist.

This song is such a wonderful fistful of melodies, layered vocals and intricate production choices that cut to the quick for me. Beautiful, moving, magical.

add this to the already-mounting pile of evidence proving the undeniable fact that Alter Boy is shaping up to be a massive force in Aussie electro-pop music.

Another arresting piece from this act. Pristine electronic pop sadness to leave any Purity Ring fan awestruck.

It's reminding me of some of the best, slightly darker sides of Scandi pop. It's understated and cool and no less a banger for being a bit of a backseat vibe.

when this one takes off at about 1:50 i swear i was flying for a bit. maybe because it's on the brain, but this feels a bit like a song from the darker, more experimental spinoff of eurovision.

if a genie popped up in front of me right now, i'd have my three wishes sorted - to raid your wardrobes, to see you perform this live and to hear a whole lot more from you in 2020.

Here's a band who can write the hell out of a hook that sounds singularly unique. Weird pop, great pop.

This song could have been produced as a straightforward chill track but it has so much more purpose between the lyrics, the intentional builds and transitions between sections, and the layer of uncertainty running through the low end. Plus the effected vocal sample hook in the chorus really gets stuck in your head. This song does everything it can to tell you that shame isn't on having a disability or divergence, it's on normative society for their inherent feeling of superiority. This messaging is why I love Alter Boy.
