We recently saw Charlie Mayfair live in Sydney while on tour, they continue to push the standards of Australian contemporary music up and "Tell her" embodies their warmth and harmonic prowess. This is just the beginning. Watch this space!

I really like this song. Epic with a bit of a dreamy quality that makes me feel sad but that's okay! I like the band name, too. :)

A truly beautiful track!! Gorgeous fuzzy folk pop that has a wonderful epic sound to it - like the love child of Sigur Ros and Foals. Really dig it!!

Folk pop! Two of my least favourite words. BUT! This is more then your normal folk pop! drums which constantly remind you that they are there, guitars which attack you from both sides and some pretty sweet vocals too! You may have changed my mind Charlie!

A beautifully produced lush pop track. It's a little bit epic and a little bit folky at the same time.

Raw emotion, controlled expression & pure talent - Tell Her is Charlie Mayfair at their best, and the some of the best I've heard from Australian indie-folk in a long time.

An exciting new pop/rock masterpiece from my favourite new band for 2011 so far. By turns wistfull, dramatic, haunting, rythmic & passionate. Every listen seems to uncover another layer of excitement, of meaning. Cant wait to hear this on a good sound system & not just on the computer. I was looking forward to the new Charlie Myfair EP, but now Im positively hanging out to hear it.

WOW This is as fine a pop song to ever come out of this country. This band has "IT" a tight, quality, but not showy backline, Will Weightman percussion & Dave Christensen guitar, a great frontline with the smolduring Dave DeMarco on giutar & the principal male vocal, between the two beautiful & exceptionally talented Irena Lysiuk vox & Hannah Shepherd vox & keys. The band has a great songwriting ability, & a capacity to use simple lyrics as a direct line to our pop sensabilities. For mine this may just be the finest pop song since REMs Loosing My Religion all those years ago. AS

Epic track. The electric guitar is awesome, must be that Dave bloke. And his acting in the new film clip is off the charts. Go DChristo!

This would have to be the most shallow sounding song I've heard in a long time. Seriously. Totally predictable lyrics. Really bad teenage poetry. The bland elements of things like Coldplay / Death Cab For Cutie mixed with what sounds like B52 type harmonies. It just doesn't work. It fails to excite. Some real cock rock type moments buried deep within this indie pop.
