The Acitones are a six-piece indie rock band hailing from Margaret River that bring a lively and animated presence to their live performances creating a high-energy atmosphere at every show.
Playing numerous shows at venues through the south west of WA since 2012 The Acitones are currently located in Perth, and are continuing to work on their forthcoming EP release.

Having continued to gain momentum since their victory at the 2013 Busselton Battle of the Bands competition, which saw them supporting Darryl Braithwaite and gain the opportunity to professionally record their single “You’ll Go Places”, which achieved national airplay on both Unearthed and Triple J Radio stations. On the back of the success of their single release The Acitones gained the opportunity to open the Groovin the Moo Festival in Bunbury, as part of a Triple J Unearthed competition.
Drawing from a variety of musical genres The Acitones utilise guitar riffs similar to Foals and Alabama Shakes, alongside drumming arrangements influenced by bands such as King Gizzard and The Lizard Wizard.
