Activate Jetpack are a heavy rock-electronica band from Canberra, Australia. Inspired by technology throughout the ages, layers of melodic synthesizer reminiscent of the games of old, join forces with industrial machinery and traditional rock instrumentation to deliver a hard hitting contribution to the modern rock genre. Formed in 2009 by singer/songwriter Chaz Lewis, Activate Jetpack's self-produced, self-titled debut album was well received following its release in March 2010. Independently produced music videos for the singles "Frenemies" and "We're Alone" both received airplay on Channel Ten's Landed Music show. Teaming up with vocalist/drummer Dan Cooke in 2013 to co-produce the band's 3rd and latest album titled "Ctrl Alt Defeat" the group have pushed boundaries to create their most sophisticated and heaviest album to date.
