Aimee Chapman is an electronic producer, vocalist, musician and sound artist whose work traverses electronic, pop and jazz via found sounds and visual work who is based out in the gumtrees of a little town in the Central Victorian Goldfields. Under the psuedonym osh10, Aimee toured extensively through Australia, Japan, Canada, Denmark and France, releasing two albums, a remix album and various single collaborations. In 2017 Aimee stepped out from behind her moniker. The same year she took part in the ‘Vast Project’ spending a week in a colonial ghost town in the Pilbara Western Australia alongside fellow songwriters such as Sally Seltmann, Bernard Fanning, Glenn Richards and Paul McDermott. Aimee collaborated with Something For Kate’s Paul Dempsey on the song ‘Swallows’ which was released on the Vast Album (LittleBigMan/EMI) in 2018. For this first release under her own name, Aimee has done away with vocals and created a downtempo electronic excursion that sneaks in a bit of her love of a melody, whilst letting the indiosyncrasies of the vintage synthesisers take centre stage.
