Bio

Alameda is the band extension of Victorian based Singer-songwriter Brendan Skinner. Formed with remnants of previous projects Alameda's members consist of Andrew Vincent on Bass, James Hughes on Drums and Keyboards and Brendan Skinner as frontman and Guitarist. The trio have been playing together since 2009 and are yet to enter the studio but have attempted several home demo recordings, including the songs "Conclusions" and "Fall in Line" taken from the previous project "Red City Sons". Brendan has been writing music for as long as he cares to remember but only did some of his first live shows while living in Vancouver in 2006, and since then has been lucky enough to play with some good Australian bands and Songwriters including Josh Pyke, The Panics, The Dead Salesmen, Epicure and Carus Thompson

very melodic with beautiful deep lyrics. I believe the term "moodist rock" has been used to describe these guys. more great tracks on their myspace :)

Genuine 4 stars, once you get past the lack of a opening hook (which might be because this is a demo) you find a layer of intricate vocal harmonies and a very dense but pleasing ending. I will be interesting to see where this band goes if they had a budget
