Bio

With the grit and honesty of a cold, damp flat and the invincible energy of a full day street party, the Albion Place flavour has become the soundtrack to the world-renowned Otago student lifestyle.

Albion Place has been turning heads in their hometown Dunedin since the release of their debut EP Here We Go in 2014. The lead single I Will Not Forget song is on its way to surpassing 200 000 plays on Spotify, and peaked at number seven on the Spotify New Zealand Viral 50 chart.

When you’re too young to play in bars, too cool to play at school and an annual talent quest doesn’t quite satisfy your intrinsic need to perform, you are left with very few options other than taking your music to the streets. With a deep desire to stamp their sound onto the world and a hope of enough coin for a cheeseburger on the way home, Albion Place’s story began on the street they’re named after. Busking brought high school mates, Micah Davis-Rae (vocals/guitar,) Hugh Fulton (keyboard/vocals) and Tom Kelk (bass) together and it wasn’t long before they recruited Mackenzie Hollebon on drums to keep them in time
