Capturing vulnerable emotion with effervescent spirit and filling lonely silence with catchy hooks and powerful melodies, Perth’s Alex Andra draws influence from inspirations such as Stand Atlantic, Paramore and Yours Truly to deliver high-energy, anthemic Pop/Punk full of heart and ambition. Alex Andra is the first solo voyage of Paige Savill, who has previously garnered attention in new-wave Synth-Pop band I Call Vall with two WAM Award nominations; as well as personal accolades including selection in WA’s first APRA AMCOS female singer/songwriter mentorship program in 2018, and involvement as mentor through the Girls Rock! WA camps. Savill has played many Perth and regional WA staple venues with her other acts, including Badlands Bar, Lucy’s Love Shack and Four5Nine (Rosemount); and has supported the likes of Tonight Alive, The Faim, Theory of a Deadman and Axe Girl.
