Melbourne Electro-Rockers, Alex Anonymous, burst into Australian music scene in early 2008, introducing a new flavour into the local melting pot. The band creates their own brand of Electronic music through the fusion of analogue/digital synthesizers as well as elements commonly associated with Alternative Rock. After years of touring the country, playing with the likes of The Butterfly Effect, British India, Evermore and Regurgitator, the band finally had a chance to hit the recording studio and released their debut self titled EP in April 2011. The EP was met by outstanding praise, described as an, ‘awe inspiring concoction’. In mid 2011, Alex Anonymous went into hibernation, spending months perfecting a fresh sound that reflected both the growth of the band since its humble beginnings, and the journey of each individual member.
