Newcomer to the Adelaide scene, Alex K is a solo singer songwriter with old school character. By combining a fragile high tenor (reminiscent of Neil Young), rustic folk sensibilities and some rock and roll attitude, Alex K cranks out his upbeat, hook-laden quirky tracks with mastery well beyond his 23 years.

Commandeering his parents’ quality ‘70s record collection from an early age, Alex’s own tracks sit happily alongside his heroes - Rodriguez, Bowie, Van Morrison and especially the aforesaid Neil Young. Two years busking has honed a fresh and intelligent performing persona with witty monologues and satirical lyrics to boot.
