Bio

Hailing from coastal WA town Geraldton, Alex the Kid now span throughout the midwest playing shows regularly between regional WA and Perth city. Since their inception the band has been non-stop writing, recording and partying. With two EPs, a split with Brisbane's 'Columbus' and many regional tours and a national tour under their belt, the Geraldtonians have just released their debut album Speak Up through Adelaide punk/hardcore label Pee Records.

After a huge 2016, opening the Triple J One Night Stand, completing another Australian tour and supporting some of Australia and the world's best bands here in Perth, 2017 is shaping up to be even bigger!

2017 has already begun on a high note, supporting Moose Blood, The Front Bottoms and The Hardaches, Hockey Dad, playing Hyperfest and have just completed a Queensland tour! The support for Hellions on their Perth show has been locked in for May 6th, and much more is in the works gig-wise for the boys.

Releasing their new single "Untitled" for the Pee Approved 5 compilation (which is available here for free download) alongside some of the finest bands in punk rock, the Geraldtonian pop-punkers are ready to show you why people are jumping on the ATK train in 2017!
