Bio

Hailing from Perth, Western Australia, is Zimbabwean born musician, Alex Parkman.

Moving to Perth in 2007, he found himself quickly drawn to the modern musical landscape that he constantly heard on the radio. Bands from Paramore, to Fall Out Boy influenced the youths formative years.

As the years went on, he was influenced by the new wave of Hip-Hop being offered to the world. At 15, he began experimenting with audio recording equipment and started experimenting with his sound. Following was a chance shoutout from Drake in 2015. This encounter cemented the young artists aspirations and goals to be great and one day make it, just like his idol.

Some time later, through his perseverance and rapid development, he found himself featured on Triple J, MTV Australia and Beats 1 Radio just to mention a few.

As the young artist's confidence and reach started to grow, he received a wave of editorial support from online magazines, streaming platforms and landing national plays on ‘Home and Hosed’, ‘Good Nights’ (Triple J) and Urban Hits (Hit Network). With festival nods and national tour supports also under his belt, it is clear that the young artist is on his way to realising his goals.

With whatever is next from the young artist, be sure that a consistent flow of quality music will always follow.

Love Parkman and Carter just flexing on their haters and nay-sayers. The chorus is catchy, the flow is wavy, the beat is bouncy. All around great stuff.
