Bio

Hailing from Perth, Western Australia, is Alex Parkman, a young and complex enigma. The Zimbabwean born artist, moved to Australia and in quick fashion, was instantly drawn to the local Australian music scene.

Through his journey and rapid development, he found himself featured on platforms such as Pilerats, Elevator, MTV Australia and Beats 1 Radio just to mention a few. Feats which were not easily accomplished. However, due to his perseverance and his unwavering belief that he could move past his chronic anxiety, he was able to push the boundaries and then gain support from audiences around the world.

As the young multi-genre artist's confidence and reach started to grow, he received a co-sign from Adam22, the face of the-popular North American based media outlet, ‘No Jumper’. Shortly after, Alex also received a co-sign from MTV Australia / New Zealand's as his music video for his earlier work, was dubbed the mega TV network's, ‘Upload of the Week’. Following was a slew of national radio interviews, in addition to receiving a wave of support from online magazines, digital stores and landing national airplay on Triple J.

With festival nods and national tour supports also under his belt, it is clear that the young West-Australian, is one to keep an eye on.
