Formed on Australia day of 2006, AliveMinded consists of Matt Stuart on lead vocals/6 string guitar, Aaron Maxwell on 5 string bass/backing vocals, Jamie Ottaway on 7 string guitar/backing vocals and Peter Fuller on drums. Over the past 2 years AliveMinded has played many shows with bands from all around Brisbane and Australia. AliveMinded continue to grow its fanbase within the local area through it's live shows and worldwide via the internet. Drawing inspiration from bands such as Megadeth, Mudvayne, Black Label Society, Sevendust and Machine Head. AliveMinded's sound is quite diverse ranging from hard hitting syncopated thrash inspired riffs to clean, soft harmonies with melodic overtones.
