Bio

Eclectic retro-pop singer-songwriter ALLIPHA has taken the Melbourne music scene by storm. A crowd favourite and peer-appointed Disco Queen, ALLIPHA is the perfect homage to 60’s and 70’s pop-funk music. Presenting a tasteful fusion of new and old, she gives audiences aching nostalgia and a glimpse into the future of music. Delivering a fierce vocal that is equally “breathy and sweet” (Tommy Faith, Triple J Unearthed), ALLIPHA has a tone and sound that is uniquely her own.

ALLIPHA has released two striking singles, “Minds On Fire” and “Freak Inside”, to critical acclaim. Among those who have praised her work are Music Feeds, themusic.com.au and many others. She commands the stage like an entertainment veteran, fronting a delectably cohesive band which she has paraded in support of artists such as Samsaruh, Brayden Sibbald and Rya Park.

There is a burgeoning buzz surrounding ALLIPHA and for good reason. She is already selling out headline shows and is sure to be astounding audiences for years to come.

when it kicks that attitude up a notch is when it was most convincing.

I've been meaning to get to this for a while now. It's jazzy and full of soul and your voice swims in and out, but with full control. It doesn't follow that normal convention of a song, which makes it a challenge for me to follow or keep with. But it's lovely. Keen to hear more from you girl!

Breathy and sweet, feels like you've stepped onto the internet from another era.
