The Longest Winter, the debut album by Alysia Manceau. Featuring the singles ‘Pretty Little Horses’ and ‘Don’t Call Me a Dove’, Alysia Manceau elegantly weaves her psychedelic folk-rock balladry into a timeless musical landscape. Self funded, The Longest Winter was recorded at Melbourne’s Sing Sing South Studio with acclaimed engineer Anna Webster and American indie producer Kramer (Will Oldham, Low) and later mastered locally by Greg Wadley. The Longest Winter features some of Melbourne’s finest: James Bridges (Collards Greens Gravy), Ben Franz (The Waifs/The Stillsons), Pete Cuthbert (Rialto), Adam Afiff (Roller One/Silvercity Highway), John Guscott (The Velocettes), Rich Davies (The Devils Union) and Jason Bunn (Orchestra Victoria). The Longest Winter, is now available as an independent release via itunes and through ...
