Amanda Bloom emerges from the depths of the Classical world to comment on the collective by fusing the beauty and power of musical order with the fury of modern rock. Classically trained on the piano from the age of 3, her first piano sonata at 6, at 17 her compositions were being performed at the Sydney Opera House and by 18 she was a student of Opera in Florence, Italy. "The History of Things to Come" is her self-written and self-produced debut album and was an epic creative journey starting in Sydney and finishing in the Middle East where she recorded the title track and the softer "Beautiful Beautiful" using local musicians from the Amman Symphony Orchestra in Jordan and the removed and unaffected passion of Iraqi producer Kassim Sabounchi.
