Indie/folk/pop singer-songwriter, Amber Farnan crafts songs of raw emotion with euphoric textures, luminous timbres and graphic, compelling lyrics. Growing up in a remote town in North Queensland, isolated her from the music scene, and drove her determination to pursue music. Amber’s song-writing is Inspired by the planet and calamitous and unparalleled life experiences she has encountered in her 17 years around the sun.
Her high powered vocals and wistful harmonies scored her a finalist position in the 2018 ‘Queensland Music Awards’ and highly commended in 2020. Amber has played at many national music Festivals, performed with the ‘Queensland Symphony Orchestra’ and was one of the 2018 ‘Big Sky Girls’. She was a 2019 National song writing competition winner and co-writing student ambassador for the ‘Music Count Us In’ program alongside John Foreman and Jack River.
