Amber Rose is a 19 year old singer-songwriter from Sydney Australia’s Northern Beaches. After her debut in late 2019 with her swooning single “Don’t Hold Me Back”, Rose has since released a further EP “Platonic Love” including the singles “Mother Earth” and “I’m Working On It”. Honing Julia Jacklin and Fleetwood Mac, the Sydney singer-songwriter continually delivers honest and introspective tunes that overflow with energy. With a shuffling beat, jangly guitar, and dreamy melodies she sets the scene for the perfect heartstrung ballads, firing that arrow right through our mushy hearts with pinpoint accuracy.
After her first live performance sold out at the Vanguard in August, Rose has played numerous shows supporting artists such as Tyne James Organ and playing her second sold out Headline show on the Northern Beaches.
Her music combines meaningful lyrics with catchy tunes influenced by strong female artists such as Angie McMahon, Carla Geneve and Julia Jacklin as well as bands like Big Thief and Fleetwood Mac.
