With just a stock rock 4-piece - you'd still need to to be Pythagoras to work out where all the sound comes from - Expect a hard hitting foundation of smooth sexy riffs, tingling rock chords and catchy vocals which you will no doubt be whispering under your breath minutes later.

2015 continues to hold much promise for Amberdown as founding members Daniel Connell and Jason Glatzer lead the way into new and exciting territory. Coming off the back of their late 2014 debut EP Miss Mediocrity and a sell-out launch party, the boys jetted off on a mini eastern states tour playing energetic live shows across Melbourne and Sydney plus racking up TV and radio appearances. After returning home, the band snapped up a support slot with rock heavy weights Motley Crue at Perth Arena.
The guys have recently welcomed two new crew members - Jesse Stark on drums (Requiem for Resistance) and bassist Lucy McCahon fresh from a two year stint around the Australian music scene including performances at Big Day Out festival.

Skip forward to 2019...With a complete shift change in 2016 – the band regrouped, they began to write and play from a deeply authentic place. Every song is from the heart and genuine, its music that they want to hear and rejects any third party prospective. After a solid 2 years off vocalist Dan compares his journey to this point as a journey through hell. “Our music has been influenced by our outlook on world issues and its evolution past and beyond the point of tolerance and understanding into the ridiculous. The world is crazy.” said Dan. “The music of the new Album, (due for release soon) was the outlet for my anger, and the lyrics were like therapy during my recovery process, after a breakdown of a long term relationship.” There is a single exception to the main concept of this album, an acoustic track that is about a extremely sick friend of Dan’s. The band have released a teaser from the new Album ‘Say You Will’ in 2018. New Single - 'Hole in the Flaw' due out soon and Album '4Years' to follow in 2019..
