Amela is a pop singer-songwriter from the Gold Coast, Australia.

Known for her unique voice and catchy melodies, Amela is a growing presence in the Australian Music scene.

Amela released her LP, "Somewhere In Between" in 2017- whose single "Push & Pull" received national airplay on Triple J and regular rotation on community radio stations in Australia. She's been sampled in Allday's "Codeine 17" and has collaborated with diverse international electronic producers including Astre, Clovr, as well as Sydney rock band Bad Pony. Amela recently performed at the Woodford Folk Festival with Bosnian folk band Cardak and was a Gold Coast Music Award finalist alongside Amy Shark.

Amela's latest single "Slow Motion" takes her on a new direction with her Bosnian background shaping her songwriting and pop sound. Her influences include Julia Michaels, Sia, Dino Merlin, The Weeknd, Years & Years and Ellie Goulding.
