Bio

Bunbury based band Amphead are best known for their high energy live performances and catchy guitar riffs influenced by artists including Foo Fighters, Arctic Monkeys and You Me At Six.

Meeting while working casually as music tutors and high school friends, Scott Lawson (Lead Guitar/Vocals), Reef Mangini (Drums) Joseph Bavich (Guitar) & Ryan Vince (Bass), have been conducting live performances around the South West of WA, including appearances at the Dardanup Bull & Barrel Festival, The Prince Hotel in Bunbury and also opening for Eskimo Joe at the Battle of the Bands in Busselton in early 2020.

After a hiatus from performing live due to COVID 19, the boys hit the recording studio with James Newhouse, to record 3 of their original tracks. With their first single GASMATE released on Spotify on 7th August 2020.

Amphead have returned to performing live in Perth at venues including The Sewing Room, The Rosemount Hotel, Lucy’s Love Shack and The Railway Hotel Fremantle building themselves a reputation to rock!

The guys share a love of all types of music and enjoy nothing more than getting together to jam at any opportunity they can get!
