Bio

Musician Amy Pollock spent her formative years honing her brand of ethereal, dark folk as a busker on the streets of Melbourne, Australia. Soon finding herself surrounded by an eclectic family of like-minded musicians, Amy immersed herself in the independent music scene and developed the mesmerising psyche she presents today.

Amy draws inspiration from artists such as City and Colour, Matt Corby and Daughter as well as finding a particular affinity with the soundscapes of alternative folk and dark electronic artists, immersing herself in the textures and depths they create.

A natural performer, it is very easy to get lost in Amy's world, drawn in by her dusky voice and gentle ripples of acoustic guitar.

it's powerful in it's sparsity and if you like gordi then this will hit you with the same feelings.

I love the darker tones in this. You can feel the emotional weight you're carrying just dragging beneath you. It feels contemplative and powerful. Your voice is gorgeous as ever and I love that gentle guitar flickering below. That piano was a stunning highlight too.
