For Anatomy Class singer-songwriter, Ant Rosen, nostalgia for a life once lived is two-fold. Since the release of the band’s debut album Tell Me What You See in 2016, his life completely metamorphosed from gigging around the live haunts of Sydney with bandmates Nick Kennedy and Danny Yau, to relocating back to his hometown of Melbourne and starting a family. The juxtaposition between those two new worlds – one filled with love, joy and possibility; the other filled with anxiety and existential dread at the state of the globe – permeates the band’s long awaited return in new single, ‘Welcome To The Ages.’ Anatomy Class has always worn its ’80s and ’90s influences on its proverbial sleeves – from the classic sounds of Lemonheads, Swervedriver and Pixies – through to the more modern day acts like Doves, The War On Drugs and DIIV.
