Andrea Kirwin is an Australian/Fijian singer-songwriter with a smooth, soulful voice and charming stage presence. Her latest album 'Bloom' is a beautiful collection of her original songs arranged for her 13 piece band, The Yama-Nui Social club. The album is inspired by love and finding the resilience to "Bloom" despite our individual and collective struggles. This record has flavours of 60s and 70s soul music, with rich string and horn arrangements, all recorded with real instruments and built around live takes. Andrea's Fijian Gospel roots underpin her heartfelt lyrics and harmony arrangements as well. A seasoned performer on the Folk Festival circuit in Australia, Andrea also runs her own independent record label, Peace Run Records and Agency and has recently partaken in Global Music Match, a collaboration project of 78 international artists from around the world through Folk Alliance and Sounds Australia.
