Bio

'Angeles' announces new single 'We Fled', recorded and mixed by Liam Judson (Rolling Blackout Coastal Fever, Cloud Control) and announces single launch show.

New Sydney based alternative act 'Angeles' follow up their debut release ‘Crush / In The Garden’ with wild and enigmatic single 'We Fled'.

Hot on the heels of Angeles’ debut single Crush / In The Garden, which earned a rotation add on FBi Radio and plays across PBS and RRR, along with two sold-out debut shows at The Lansdowne Hotel, Angeles follows it up with 'We Fled' - released on 7.7.21

Pluto Sotiropoulos (Angeles) explains "It's a song I wrote, feeling so low and defeated after a fight, walking barefoot along a road and finding comfort and solace in the blistering burn beneath me"

Grounded by a nice little New Order guitar lick, the shadows of other '80s alt-guitar heroes subtly appear through this one. Not a criticism at all, as the song possesses a (broken) heart of its own.

A little slice of Factory Records in our own backyard. Angeles has a winner on their hands with this one.
