Positive lyrics, infectious melodies and fresh production combine to deliver a blend of pop with feel good EDM energy. A classical guitar and piano foundation bring structure and integrity to 16 year old Angus Brill Reed’s original works.

His new track ‘Phone’ was imagined, crafted, recorded, mixed and mastered entirely in his suburban Adelaide bedroom. As the title indicates, the song explores the fact that teenagers have become slaves to their phones. It suggests that there is something quite liberating about sometimes putting the phone down and simply letting go. Messages online create constant pressure and time out with mates is the perfect escape.

Shortlisted for Eurovision, collaborations with ARIA winning Peter Holz, featured on ABC and SBS TV, Young Composer of the Year, and a slew of national and international songwriting awards, Angus is a singer-songwriter, musician, DJ and producer from South Australia.

Angus' debut EP - a collection of accessible and unpretentious original tracks focussing on contemporary issues - is set for release in late 2020.

The catchy beat of ‘Phone’ got caught in Angus’ head one night and he hopes it will stay in yours.
