Bio

Anna has come a long way since growing up on a lavender farm in Central Victoria. She toured widely following the release of her first EP and her pure voice and story-telling tunes have garnered attention around Australia, Europe and the UK.

When Anna isn’t touring, she works in international development. The songs on her sophomore EP, due for release in October, tell tales from the last five years spent living in the Solomon Islands, Cambodia and the Philippines.

The first single from the EP, Benjamin, was recently premiered on Double J. The second track, Home, was made AU Review Track of the Day and got plenty of love on community radio.

Anna has performed at the Port Fairy Folk Festival and the Queenscliff Music Festival, among many others. She recently supported Dave Graney and has received songwriting mentoring from Jeff Lang and Abby Dobson (Leonardo’s Bride). 2019 sees her splitting her time between advocacy work in the Philippines and touring her new record around Australia.

Anna treads a sweet line between metaphorical and literal with songs like these, optimistic and earnest in her outlook. Folk music with gusto.
