DI APPRENTICE Apprentice aka Kuda Pwiti was born in Harare, Zimbabwe and since landing on Australian soil in 2008 he has immersed himself in Melbourne’s Hip Hop, Dancehall and Reggae music community and already secured his crown as one of the most promising fresh faces in Dancehall music locally and arguably worldwide. With a high energy and hype live performance Apprentice has been burning up stages across Melbourne’s Dancehall and live music venues over the past two years – already having the honour of supporting major international Dancehall artist’s including Gyptian (Jamaica), Gappy Ranks (UK), Jah Mason (Jamaica), Million Styles (Sweden), Nox (Zimbabwe), and Winky D (Zimbabwe). Working with local recording label ‘YardHouse’ Apprentice is set to release his debuting album ‘Watch My Step’ this year 2013. The album is a year worth of growth and learning the hard lessons of life, and being an artist, while always knowing how to rock the party.
