Bio

Aquinas' trajectory is hard to pin - homemade production and a defined sensibility for pop songwriting saw his first single "Bonsai." instantly make waves near and far from his hometown of Newcastle, Australia in 2019. It's accompanying album, "Boy.", laid the foundation for an eclectic career to come. From here he would play shows around his city and further in Sydney, as well as collaborate with exciting voices such as Craterface and FRITZ.

The follow up record "I Was Dreaming That" provided just the unpredictability that Aquinas demands. LoFi, short and experimental, the album's lead single "Thrasher1987" showed a talent for raw hip-hop delivery and cadence that earned the track a place on Spotify's "Beats and Bars" playlist.

Concluding 2020, Aquinas sets to prove he cannot be categorized, drawing ideas from all backgrounds of inspiration together with an undeniable distinguishing finesse. The new single "Dover" is ready to again show Aquinas' capability to evolve without compromise

Drowsy (almost house like) beat to give Aquinas an interesting edge to this track. Like the flowing verbs too.

heard you on that craterface track and had to go hunting for more. you got such unwavering flow among the throwback production.

Aquinas flow like water. Beat's great and the bars don't miss.
