Arcadia is a metal/hardcore band from Adelaide, South Australia. The name Arcadia means a ‘region of simplicity and untouched quiet, a sort of utopia’. The ideas and impossibilities of such a place are what spawned the music of the band. The question Arcadia poses is 'how can such a place exist?' Their songs talk about many things that prevent this mythical world from existing. Topics like war, depression, substance abuse and confrontation form the meaning behind the bands music.
