Artist:Arrowbird

Arrowbird is the solo project of self produced singer-songwriter Maraya (Ray) Vavasis. <p> Filled with immense vocal energy and otherworldly dynamic instrumentation, her music hybridises folktronica, world, soundtrack and alternative music. With a likeness to Imogen Heap, Bjork and Aurora, Arrowbird's sound comprises multi-layered vocals soaring through acoustic, orchestral choral textures and impactful drum hits. </p> <p> Being heavily influenced by her favourite Greek music and childhood films such as Pocahontas and The Lion King, Ray invested years behind the scenes learning to record, mix and produce in her bedroom to achieve her sound visions. </p> <p>Ray comments: <em> "I experienced the greatest music learning curve these past few years whilst at the same time completing a Media Arts degree.
