Bio

Bouncing onto Melbourne's Pop/RnB scene, Singer/Songwriter 'Ash Kennedy''s debut single 'Point Of View' received overwhelming praise from triple j and taste-maker blogs; moving forward Ash Kennedy hopes to keep you trapped in her personal bubble with her intimate second single Chocolate In The Morning.

Influenced by US & UK Jazz, RnB & Soul acts: Lianne La Havas, H.E.R., Refs & Tori Kelly, Ash blends the nostalgic warmth of jazz with the fresh flavours of modern Pop & RnB. Honesty is her policy, with raw lyrics & a present persona on social media, Ash has an undoubted connection with those that follow her, and has big things bound to come her way.

Ash is highly respected and known in the Melbourne music scene for her effortless, soulful, masterful vocals and bright, bubbly energy. Performing alongside talented Melbournian acts such as JAYDEAN (Kaiit, Ruel), ALLIPHA, Dandecat, thando, and Taylor Piggott, Ash also appeared on the cover of Beat Magazine during MMW with Sunshine and Disco Faith Choir as a feature vocalist.

Catch her on Instagram & Facebook live performances, before she returns to the live music scene later in the year.
'Ash Kennedy' was busy in 2020, featuring on two more tracks this year, including 2 tracks, Polar Opposite & 'Closer' on Zac Robertson's debut album, and a duet feature with the soulful Will Clift.

Something in the water on the east coast of Australia right now because there are so many outrageously talented r'n'b singers are coming to the surface. Belting and caressing at the same time, you've nailed this Ash.
