Bio
Melbourne fuzz-pop trio, Atolls burst onto the scene late last year with their infectious single and b-side Mumble/Water, scoring ‘Single Of The Week’ in Time Off and Inpress and had Mess + Noise extol “slacker anthem-of-the-year potential right here”. The band, featuring Lucas Skinner (King Gizzard), Oli Grinter and Sam Ingles are following it up with and the catchy-as-fuzz new single Worn, taken from the forthcoming ‘Hair Machine’ EP. The EP, recorded at Lucas’ house in Geelong and Mixed and Mastered by Michael Badger (The Demon Parade), will be released April 5, the day of the launch. ‘HAIR MACHINE’ EP LAUNCH Friday 5 April - The Workers Club, Fitzroy with guests - Hollow Everdaze & Mallee Songs Doors 8.30 tickets $10 http://www.facebook.com/atollsband http://soundcloud.com/atolls http://atolls.bandcamp.com/

Didn't know Lucas Skinner from King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard had his own side project. BUT I FOUND IT. And I LOVE IT. #bringbackatolls

Atolls rules. Seriously, this band can do no wrong it seems. I loved Dwell Breaker to bits and now they've hit with a neat one-two punch of Love Forlorn and Jump In.

Soul-fuzz! Yes, that's exactly the right description. I didn't expect this from Atolls but I'm glad they've served it up. Winner.
