Bio

The Atomic Beau Project are Brisbane’s newest prog/heavy powerhouses. For those not in the know, The Atomic Beau Project are a progressive rock band, incorporating elements of metal, indie pop, and electronica and hail from the sunny state of Queensland. The band’s sound has been compared to that of Devin Townsend, Poppy, and Skynd. Originally a solo studio project created by it’s founding member, The Atomic Beau Project officially expanded into a full band lineup in 2020. Their first release of 2020 ‘Time’, received airplay on Triple M Hard N Heavy, The Faction and more, was featured in the world’s largest progressive rock/metal magazine, PROG, and received 8.8/10 on Local Band Smokeout. Their latest single, ‘Cellar Door’, goes into weirder and darker places compared with their previous releases, stretching DEEP into the occult and supernatural (to be released on October 30)

Really different - never quite heard industrial and prog metal go together like this together before - exciting to see something a bit left field come out of Brisbane of all places!

Monster sized energy from this band. I'm picturing a teenaged Godzilla in his room/cave, dressed in all black, straightening his scales (?) and envisioning all the shit he wants to smash while listening to this.

The electronic production is what makes this stand out so vividly. The galloping beat in the chorus is laced with latent electricity which is explodes into a shower of sparks into the chorus. Cutting, incisive and modern but then suddenly you're hit with that monstrous, soaring, classic metal solo.
