Bio

Brisbane based Avaberée (aye-va-ber-ee) has an evolving, natural sound. Members
Genevieve, Aimee and Irena’s personal growth has organically lead to musical
development and experimentation - new instruments, new sounds and new styles. The
core of the band remains firm with their harmony focused sound and heartfelt lyrics
layered over a tapestry of beats, bass and electronic elements.

Bursting on the local and national independent music scene with their debut single
‘Lover of mine’, the ladies captured the ears of Triple J, community radio and a horde
of new fans. Avaberee have since toured the east coast of Australia multiple times and
have supported many nationally and internationally recognised artists, including Matt
Corby, Emma Louise, Will and The People, The Trouble With Templeton and Stu
Larson.

Since ‘Lover of mine’, Avaberee have ventured with purpose to incorporate new
musical influences. This evolving sound saw them spend much of 2014 writing new
material and travelling to Los Angeles to work with upcoming producer Tommy
English (Ladyhawke, Borns). The product of this trip and transformation is their forth
coming EP ‘In Your Arms I Found My Secrets’ and new single ‘Can’t Get You Off My
Mind’.

‘Can’t Get You Off My Mind’ will be available digitally in Australia on March 17th.

If only polygamy was legal! I'd marry both of your songs. I'm blown away again.
