Reigning from the plastic, fake and phony Gold Coast and the receding muddy waters of Brisbane QLD, Averice were born. Since forming in 2003, Averice have progressed from jamming in garages and bedrooms, and playing gigs in dirty pubs and nightclubs, to now performing at top level venues alongside some of the biggest names in the punk industry. Averice is a four piece punk band with a strong belief in humanity and people’s rights. With a huge devotion to fast music, and growing up in coastal surf communities and inner city suburbs, it is no wonder that these four thrill seekers were able to channel their adrenaline and excitement through skating, surfing, and snowboarding all whilst trying to stay out of trouble. Writing about what they believe in without having their views swayed by the media and political propaganda, they remain true to themselves and what they stand for.
