Bio

With 2 Singles and a music video under their belt, Azmosphere are winning the hearts of indie music fans far and wide.
Their style has been described as a unique soundscape of deeply soulful melodies and guitar riffs, fused with lively drumbeats and atmospheric samples. It’s captivating, intense and at times moody.
Singer / song writer Astrid describes writing as a cathartic experience, allowing her to express deep, unspoken emotions to create an immortalised piece of music. She uses creative metaphors and is brilliant at setting the scene for a compelling story.

Azmosphere started their game strong with their debut single “Squalor Syndrome” receiving radio airplay and write ups in music blogs such as Blank GC.
They then followed with their remake of Nancy Sinatra’s THESE BOOTS ARE MADE FOR WALKIN’. This incredible cover has received a lot of traction with the music video hitting over 10,000 views on YouTube and blogs labeling it “hypnotic”, “impeccably original” and “A compelling and welcome discovery”. This track also received radio airplay and reached the top 10 in a local radio station's charts.

As for their live performance, Azmosphere have charmed fans with an onstage charisma that leaves the audience feeling alive with love. And their extremely technical guitar solos are jaw dropping live, both guitarist can really shred!

Amzosphere have a very mixed bag of musical taste. They love their indie / rock music and enjoy a bit of flamenco. But what might come as a surprise is the pair adore death metal and other extreme styles of music. This influence divulges itself through moody melodies and intricate guitar playing.

"The sound they have created is a mix of moody melodies with flamenco guitar against an electronica backdrop. Just beautiful" - Mella Lahina, Blank GC

Not my usual bag, but the vocals are rad, and it goes to a super cool, dark folksy, groovy place. Noice
