Baby Lemur is an ever-evolving, experimental project bred from adventures in a little yellow van somewhere between the desert and the ocean, brought to life with those closest in bedroom studios in hometown Hobart. The music is a brutally honest insight into the mind of Callum Coleman, the projects founder, as he wanders the globe opening himself up to rare experiences to internalise, love, feel, marinade on, and eventually share with the world. Styles infuse indie rock, blues, folk, funk and heartfelt ballads, and each live performance is unique as the band push and pull each other in different ways based on how they are feeling that night. After years of bottling up these emotions and fragments of consciousness, Baby Lemur became the outlet for uninterrupted expression, and might just be yours too.
