Bio

From a dark sharehouse in sunny Coburg, Bailey Judd manifests a melancholic sheene in his music taken from the streets of the Northern suburbs. Drawing inspiration from the fast pace and stark emptiness of Sydney road in and out of lockdowns.

Bailey has played music to rooms of Melbourne corporate giants only to return to a derelict room in a sunless terrace house. Observing the working class and upper middle class divide - from beach views to dive bars, Judd describes the feeling of “being a guest in someone else’s world” but finds his true home in his eclectic brand of indie rock.

Over 2021, Bailey and along with friends Ella Clair and Jake Amy held “Broke and Enter '' Mini Festival, MC’d by comedian Shiralee Hood at Max Watts to raise funds for their stolen music gear in early 2021 proceeding Judd’s sold out “Can’t Quite” single launch at Colour Club.
Judd shared the “Broke and Enter” lineup with Thando, JAYDEAN, The Mamas, Emma Volard, Squid Nebula (BUMPY) backed by Triple R’s Chris Gill on Get Down.

it's sweet sounding but the words tell a different story and that's an interesting mesh to get soaked up by.

Extra easy going vibes from Bailey, here. The playing feels super natural and the chorus really warm.
