Baka Gaijin is the passion project of Perth-native keyboardist and songwriter Ethan Walters (Raksha, Freehand, Vissac). The traditional piano-pop four-piece format belies this band's true depth; the chaotic mix of jazz-fusion, prog-rock, indie pop, and disco funk that approximates Baka Gaijin's sound is brought together seamlessly by the band's incredible musicianship, resulting in a sound that's eclectic and diverse, yet still accessible. It's not easy to accurately describe Baka Gaijin as a band, but one thing is for sure: they are utterly unique.
