Artist:BAND OF THE FREE

Formed in Sydney during the hazy winter of 2007 by Torontonian singer-songwriter Jacqueline Schlender and Melbournian artist-producer Bryan St James, Band Of The Free began life in a spontaneous tequila-fueled explosion of sonic and graphic creativity. This, coupled with an inspirational trial-by-fire on the dark streets of West Hollywood and the spooky desert plains of California and Nevada, set the tone in stone. Upon returning to sunny Sydney to wade through an ocean of material produced on America’s west coast, the band seconded a smoky mountain hideaway to commence the recording of their debut long player.
