Artist:Batmosphere

Batmosphere is a three-piece (for the most part) synth-funk outfit originally from Canberra, forming whilst at Narraundah College, but now based in Sydney and Brisbane. Founding members, Powrie and Tierney have both played in several successful bands, touring both here in Australia and overseas. Batmosphere often features guest appearances from their musical friends, who are based in countries all over the world, giving them an international flavour. Both Powrie and Tierney are multi-instrumentalists and thoroughly enjoy writing and playing music inspired by the 1980s synth-based pop and hip hop movements. Produced entirely by Powrie and often featuring Powrie’s brother (JP) on Piano and guitar, with Tierney playing the all-important bass guitar that has given Batmosphere it's signature sound and unique groove.
