BATTS is the project of the Melbourne based singer-songwriter and space enthusiast Tanya Batt. Formerly focusing on Electronic Trip-Hop with producer Ficci, BATTS has branched off on her own and has made the transition back to her roots. Inspired mostly by folk artists, BATTS has reinvented her sound with her newest single ‘For Now’ which explores multiple genres and the inspiration of space, creating a spacey dream pop vibe.

With her first four singles gaining millions of plays collectively online and receiving radio support from BBC Introducing, BBC Radio 1, KCRW, triple j, triple j unearthed and many more worldwide. BATTS has been playing live around Australia supporting Australian favourites I Know Leopard, Lastlings, Flamingo, Elizabeth Rose and ended 2016 playing NYE On The Hill alongside Tash Sultana,The Preatures and many more.

Currently working on her debut EP with her band members Hayden Calnin, Lachlan O’Kane and Ross Beaton it will be due out in the second half of 2017.

The amount of people I've heard talk about how beautiful this track is, really demonstrates how powerful your songwriting and your ability to create something that many people can relate to and treasure. It was a pleasure listening to this. It's gentle, compassionate and simply gorgeous.
