Artist:The Beached Kennedys

Brain Wilson meets Jello Biafra and offers him a Taco. The Beached kennedys are Steve Mayhew(otherwise known as 'cacoon man') on Vocals and Guitar, Scott Blackford on Bass and Ben Stevens on drums and backing vocals. These three lads grew up in Cairns and have recently started this project which they have named The Beached Kennedys. The sound conjures up images from dark nightscapes to vast spacious desert scenes. From Fast to slow Grinding guitars and radio vocals mixed in with solid back beats. Throughout the set Mayhew and Blackford interchange between bass and Guitar which makes for an interesting contrasts between the writing within in the band. Over the next 6 months the boys will be going in and getting an EP on the way, stay tuned for more tracks..
